For many, coming out can be devastating, putting them at risk of rejection, homelessness and emotional strain. Amma’s Pride is a moving counter narrative of unconditional love, resilience, and acceptance.
On October 11 & 12, Amma’s Pride was shared globally for the first time through our Stand Up for Love virtual screening campaign. Together, we created a collective moment of visibility and care. with viewers joining from 13 countries, 21 U.S. states, and 11 states across India, and over 250,000 people engaging with the film and its message online.
WHY THIS MATTERS
LGBTQIA+ rights are under threat. Too many communities still do not have access to affirming stories. Stand Up For Love is an opportunity to break through those barriers and share a story that can inspire connection, reflection, and change.
It is a collective moment to Stand up For Love.
This is only the beginning.
We will be hosting another virtual screening soon so that more people, families, and communities can experience this story.

Funds will cover the technology for hosting the screening, accessibility tools, grassroots screenings, honorariums for community partners, marketing and compensation for our small team’s labor.

Tickets will be available for a small fee to make the event accessible while funding ongoing impact work.
